On the show I used only the Stirling whey butter to pan fry the packets which took too much time and the smoke point was so low that I started smoking up the studio. I’ve updated the recipe I posted adding more oil than butter so your packets will cook quickly and without hunky firemen showing up at your door.

Wait!

What was I thinking! Bring on the butter, baby!

I did spoil you rotten, didn’t I, Heather. And I did it in Fridge Whisperer style, the cannelloni cheese filling hanging out in my fridge just begging to be used up so I made crepes for it, filled them, bechamel topped it, and in the oven it went.

So glad you were able to make this shindig.

And sooner than later to be sure.

Spoiled. Spoiled rotten. That’s what we were. Stuffed full of Fridge Whisperer goodness. Every eye-pleasing morsel was delicious. I’m already craving the focaccia bianca. Mmm…and the cannelloni. The creme caramel. The strawberry tarts.

The company alone makes my heart glad, but when you tickle my palate, too? Sooner than later can’t come too soon.

You are so right… one both counts. Hand crafted hush puppies are divine and I do have a pretty amazing foodie life.

No complaints on either front.
